What standards does EzSCCR Calculator support?
EzSCCR Calculator supports UL 508A / NEC (North America) and IEC 61439 / JIS C 8480 (international). You can switch between standards, and between English and Japanese, at any time from the app's header.
What does EzSCCR Calculator actually calculate?
You enter your facility transformer, feeder cable, busway, and branch circuit details, along with your machine's rated SCCR. The app calculates the available symmetrical fault current at the point of installation and compares it against your machine's rating to show a pass/fail verdict, with a full breakdown of the calculation.
Is EzSCCR Calculator free?
Yes. The app is free to download, and all calculation features are free to use without limits. Printed and PDF reports include a watermark until you remove it with a one-time in-app purchase. There is no subscription.
How does the "Remove Watermark" purchase work?
It's a one-time, non-consumable purchase tied to your Apple ID. If you get a new device or reinstall the app, use the "Restore Purchase" button in the app header to restore it at no additional cost.
Can I add my company logo and information to the report?
Yes. Under Preparer Information, you can enter your company name, your name, email, phone number, and upload a company logo. This information is saved on your device and appears in the header of your printed and PDF reports.
Does the app work offline?
Yes, all calculations work fully offline. The app loads its typeface from an online font service; without an internet connection, it falls back to your device's system font, but functionality is unaffected.
Does EzSCCR Calculator collect my data?
No. All data you enter (customer, machine, preparer information, and logo) is stored only on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Are the results guaranteed to be accurate?
No. Results are theoretical estimates based on the values you enter. They are not a substitute for a measured or engineered short-circuit study. Final installation decisions should always be verified by a qualified person in accordance with applicable codes.
